While attending and later graduating from the Univeristy of NE at Omaha, I fell in love with film making and film criticism. Makes no sense considering that I got my BA in Painting and Digital Media, with a minor in Art History, but what are you gonna do? While there, I began crafting short films, two of which were featured in local film festivals, Middle of Nowhere Film Festival in Lincoln (for "Reflection") and the UNO Film Festival (for "Grandma's Tape").

I've taken a break from those little projects to write reviews. Its been suggested that no one spends more time in a darkened theater than me. If it isn't that, it's watching my ever growing DVD and now BluRay collection.

Besides those, I attend to my conservation efforts for the World Wildlife Foundation and continued efforts at bugging U.S. senators to pass enviromental and conservation bills that will better enrich Earth for future generations.
