Tuesday’s episode of “Reaper” entitled “Cancun” kicked major ass! The demons decide to set a trap for Sam who they think is actually the spawn of Satan. That’s right folks, Sam might actually be calling the devil dad soon, and to top if off, he finds out about his situation from a fortuneteller that happens to be an escaped soul.

After hearing the disturbing news Sam confronts his father who denies the story and continues to profess that he is actually Sam’s real dad. So Sam, who is upset by the whole ordeal, leaves his dad to meet up with his demon friends in order to tell them what has transpired in the past few hours, only to find out that he has stepped into a trap.

Meanwhile, Sock has the hots for a demon hotty (the so hot is ridiculous Cindy Sampson) that gives him a high after kissing him, but shaves years off of his life every time she does.

Sam is rescued from the demon’s trap but his father who came to help him got buried alive (bummer). Sam gives his mom the scoop and the two of them grieve a little for the loss of his father, then he heads to the Workbench to watch a fireworks display in honor of his fathers death.

That would have been a fitting ending, but right before the credits roll we see Sam’s mom digging up her dead husband who coughs and breaths a sigh of relief upon seeing her. WTF?

This series is getting better with each episode and the word that it got picked up for another season is indeed great news.
