When "Reaper" first premiered I watched it because I knew that Kevin Smith was involved with the show, but for some reason, even though I enjoyed watching it I still lost interest. Well consider my interest renewed! I started watching the show again about 3 or 4 weeks ago and am now addicted. And because I'm a selfish bastard I decided to start a weekly feature that allows me to profess my adoration of the show while providing a short synopsis of what happens in each episode from here on out. Here we go.....

Episode: Rebellion

Sam's gay neighbors Steve (guest star Michael Ian Black) and Tony (guest star Ken Marino) tell Sam (Bret Harrison) that they can help him get rid of the Devil once and for all, hence saving his soul from the bowels of hell. Sam decides to go along with the plan and is soon invited to a freaky demon version of alcoholics anonymous where a group of demons retell their good deeds in hopes that they can kill the Devil with kindness. But in order for their plan to work they need Sam to get close to the man from down under so that he can lead him to the demons like a lamb to the slaughter (sorry, couldn't help the Jesus humor, get it, I said lamb?).

Meanwhile Sock gets jealous when Josie goes out on a date with Ted. So Sock does what any man would do, he goes to Josie's place to fight with her and the two of them end up in bed together (knew that was coming). And it seemed like Sam was finally going to bump uglies with Andi, but of course the two of them get interrupted when Sam has to leave to join the revolution against the Devl. The revolution backfires because as it turns out the Devil set Sam up so that he could get the group of do-gooding demons in one place and send them all back to hell. And a partridge in a pear tree!

I'll be back next week to recap the episode and rant about my love for this simple yet entertaining show. I'm thinking Sam just might be the antichrist, but that's just me.
