The Jon Favreau directed adaptation of the classic comic book superhero is shaping up to be a huge fiscal profit. Earning $102.1 million domestically since debuting on Thursday and $95.5 million internationally since Wednesday, bringing the grand total to $197.6 million making it the 10th biggest opening of all time as well as the 4th largest opening for a superhero movie. It’s nice to see that at least some comic book adaptations are beginning to have some substance.
