Hollywood just doesn't let up, and this time they are sticking their claws deep into one of horrors most beloved icons; Jason. That's right folks a re-imagining of the Friday the 13th movie is under way, only this time the flick is going to focus on Jason instead of his dear old mom.

Director Marcus Nispel who helmed the remake of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE as well as the film PATHFINDER has been tapped to take on this re-imaagining.

I wish the suits would leave the classics alone and focus on some new blood, but we all know that's not going to happen.
