Variety announced Director Bruck Eisner is in preproduction for a remake of the famous cult classic, Creature From The Black Lagoon.

The story follows some scientists going up the amazon river and getting attacked by an amphibious creature.

Hollywood bigwigs apparently believe we need more regurgitated films. Don't get me wrong I loved the original, and have to ask myself, do we really need another remake? Especially a remake of a classic film that still stands on it's own.
