Blood and Core!

According to the latest issue of “Entertainment Weekly,” both Corey Feldman AND Corey Haim are set to reprise their roles in the direct-to-DVD sequel, “Lost Boys II: The Tribe.”

Executive Producer Mary Viola tells EW that the film “just began casting a few weeks ago and always hoped to feature the duo.”

Viola also dishes out a small bit of the plot, stating the “The Tribe” is set in the world of extreme sports where the modern vampires are “adrenaline junkies.”

Haim was tight lipped about the project, but described it as “dark and deep–think ‘The Crow’ meets ‘Point Break’.”

The film will also star Angus Sutherland (half brother of Kiefer, who of course, starred in the original film), Autumn Reeser, and Tad Hilgenbrinck.

According to IMDB.com, Jamison Newlander is “attached” to the project to reprise his role as Alan Frog, brother of Edgar Frog (Feldman).

Sounds like we just may have a bit of a reunion for this film.

Hey, Viola, see if you can get Jami Gertz in there somewhere. I can safely say that she is one woman who has aged quite well and is sexier than ever. Mmm-Mmm.

So Haim, wipe away those tears you shed on The Two Coreys. You’re back in business, baby. And while you’re at it, i wouldn’t mind seeing another “Demolition High/University” or “Double 0 Kid” film. Think about it!!
