Harvey Korman, star of “Blazing Saddles” and “The Carol Burnett Show” died Thursday at the age of 81. Korman died at UCLA Medical Center after suffering complications from an abdominal aortic aneurysm four months ago, his family said in a statement released by the hospital. He is perhaps best known for playing Hedley Lamarr in Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles”, “High Anxiety”, “The History of the World Part 1”, “Dracula: Dead and loving it”, “Trail of the Pink Panther” and “Curse of the Pink Panther”. My parents got me watching “The Carol Burnett Show” and “Blazing Saddles” is one of my favorite movies. He will truly be missed.
