Just when you thought, or secretly dreamed, that reality TV would die and go away, it flares back like a bad Herpes outbreak. Yesterday the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced that a new category will be added: Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Show. This means that people like Jeff Probst or, worse yet, Tila Tequila could win an Emmy. A very prestigious award is suddenly cheapened to something that those bitches on 'The Hills' can now win. A sad day indeed.
